Streamlined Audio Playback ​
The live mic is now the default audio source. Prerecorded clips are also directly selectable from the command page.
When an audio source is selected prior to Global Activation, the source will broadcast automatically after activation.
Simplified Command Unit Login ​
By default, passwords are not required to access EAS from the Command Unit laptop. mTLS is used to securely authenticate. Passwords can still be set as desired.
Read Only Accounts ​
Read only accounts provide a secure way for additional stakeholders to monitor EAS throughout an event site. This allows video trucks, production offices, and additional departments to observe EAS activations.
Low Latency Audio ​
The EAS audio subsystem has been upgraded to support low latency audio. The delay between the Command Unit and Trigger Boxes is now less than 1 second. The new streaming protocol can handle less than ideal network conditions. This includes multi-hop point-to-point links.
