Recorder

Prerecorded audio clips are an important part of emergency crowd management. The EAS Recorder page makes it easy to record and import audio clips in a variety of formats.

Record an Audio Clip

Press and hold the Record button to record an audio clip. Once recorded, there are a few additional parameters available:

• Clip Title
• Color Tag (optional)
• Loop (optional) - By default, clips will loop during playback. Uncheck this box to play a clip once.
• Trim (optional) - Select the section of the clip to import.

Import an Audio Clip

Pre-recorded audio clips in a variety of file formats can be imported to EAS. Drag clips into the Record window, adjust options as necessary, then save.

Text to Speech

To use the built in text-to-speech tool, make sure that the Command Unit has access to the internet. Generated clips have the same settings as audio clips, such as title, loop, and color. Clips generated by Text-to-Speech have the icon next to them in clip lists.
